Family Displaced After Attic Fire Chars Perris Home

Two adults and a child were forced from their Kestrel Gate home early Sunday.

PERRIS, CA — One child and two adults were displaced by a residential fire in Perris Sunday.

The fire was reported around noon Sunday in the 1100 block of Kestrel Gate, where firefighters found smoke from the attic of a single-family residence.

Firefighters contained the fire to a single room by 12:50 p.m.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
