Fire Guts Pinyon Street Home In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA — A fire caused significant damage to a Murrieta home early Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported.

The blaze in the 27000 block of Pinyon Street, just west of Interstate 215, broke out before dawn.

Murrieta Fire & Rescue, Murrieta Police Department and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the "well-involved" residential blaze, according to Murrieta Fire & Rescue.

By 5:10 a.m., the blaze was knocked down.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
