Free Fireworks Show, Live Bands Set For Murrieta's Birthday Bash
The 31st annual Murrieta Birthday Bash is set for 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at California Oaks Sports Park. The whole community is invited.
MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta is set to celebrate its 31st year as a city, and the entire community is invited to a giant birthday party this weekend.
The 31st annual Murrieta Birthday Bash is set for 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at California Oaks Sports Park. The free party will feature family-friendly activities including live entertainment, a firefighter’s hose down, food vendors and a 9 p.m. fireworks show.
Live bands begin at 5 p.m. with Rock By Night and The Kings of Queen at 7:15 p.m.

“This is a true community event and everybody is invited to celebrate the city’s birthday with entertainment and fun. It’s a great way to kick off summer and a great day to enjoy with family and friends,” said Murrieta City Manager Kim Summers.
The event will be held entirely outdoors and attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets for seating. Umbrellas and shades are allowed until sunset when they will need to come down for the 9 p.m. fireworks show.
