INLAND EMPIRE, CA -- The freezing cold temperatures (freezing by California's definition) will continue through Sunday, the National Weather Service said. The agency issued a frost advisory through 8 a.m. Sunday for Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Forecasters said residents should expect temperatures ranging from 33 to 36 degrees.

They warned that plants and other sensitive vegetation may be killed if left unprotected. Sub freezing temperatures can also harm outdoor pets and livestock.
