Gas Prices Keep Falling Near Murrieta
It's the longest such streak of falling prices in more than two years.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped for the 30th consecutive day Friday, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.56.
It's the longest such streak in more than two years.
The average price has dropped 24.1 cents over the past 30 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4 cents less than one week ago and 24 cents lower than one month ago, but 38.6 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 48.7 cents since the start of the year.
The average price dropped 35 consecutive days from July 12-Aug. 15, 2016, when that average also included figures from San Bernardino County.
