Help Shape Menifee's New 10-Acre Nature Park: Survey Link
What do you think should be part of the new 10.45-acre Quail Valley Nature Park?

MENIFEE, CA — The City of Menifee has released a survey for its new Quail Valley Nature Park. This Community Survey kicks off the design process for the over 10-acre nature-themed park in Quail Valley. On Tuesday, from 6 to 7 p.m., residents can share their thoughts at the Quail Valley Elementary School Library, located at 23757 Canyon Heights Drive.
The City of Menifee has been awarded $750,000 in matching grant funds (for a total project budget of $1.5 million) from the National Park Service's Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) to develop a 10.45-acre nature-themed park within the Quail Valley community.
The nature-themed park will be the only public park within a 5-mile radius of the area. The amenities to be included must comply with the Grant and could consist of the following:

- Walking / Nature Trails
- Nature-Based Play Areas
- Interactive Activities along Trails (play/ learning/ interpretive)
- Outdoor Fitness Equipment
- Gathering Spaces with Shade Shelters
- Multi-Use Lawn / Field
- Gravel parking lot with ADA Accessible parking
- Portable Restrooms
The City will offer several opportunities for participation in shaping the development of the Quail Valley Nature Park. Residents are encouraged to take an online survey available by clicking the link here.
The survey will be open until Monday, October 27.

"We want to hear from you!" a spokesperson for the city says.
The park will feature walking and nature trails, nature-based play areas, outdoor fitness equipment, shaded gathering spaces, and open green space.
"Your feedback will help shape the overall look, feel, and unique design of this new community space," they said.
