Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Srta. Guzman is one of the only teachers that I’ve had that is truly selfless and caring. She has no hesitation pausing a lesson to help a student, whether it’s about the lesson or not. She is so understanding and you can genuinely talk to her about anything without feeling judged or embarrassed. If she ever feels, or sees, that a student is off in any way she will talk to them, making sure they are ok. She works hard to make sure that each and every one of her students understands the curriculum and I always see her working one on one with students. To make things better, she makes learning in her class fun and will give everyone a break from learning, for a few minutes, every week. One of her teaching methods includes students going face to face with each other, which not only helps in a teaching aspect but also gives students the chance to socialize with their peers and learn more about them, overall making her class feel like a family.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
She has unbelievable patience, which is really rare to find in a teacher.
