I-15 Crash Closes Multiple Lanes Monday In Eastvale

Multiple cars collided in a crash that injured at least one person.

EASTVALE, CA — A multi-vehicle freeway collision in Eastvale Monday left at least one driver requiring medical attention and temporarily closed multiple lanes.

The crash was reported shortly after 8:15 a.m. Monday on the southbound I-15 near Limonite Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol records. Three vehicles were involved in the crash, leaving all but the right two lanes blocked.

A driver of a black Hyundai SUV, one of the three involved vehicles, required medical attention but eventually exited the vehicle, according to CHP records. An ambulance was called to the scene around the same time, but it was unclear if the person was taken to a hospital.

Following the arrival of multiple tow trucks 30 minutes later, CHP records indicated that the rightmost lane was blocked for towing operations, while all others had been reopened.

No other injuries were immediately reported.
