Learn About RivCo's Native Plants And History On This Tour
Attendees will learn how plants were once used in the area for food sources tools and medicinal purposes.
MENIFEE, CA — This month, the Menifee History Museum will showcase how Riverside County's native plants have been used for centuries in food, medicine and more.
The California Native Plant Tour will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15.
The tour will include exhibits about those who lived in the area hundreds of years ago, gold mining, early homesteaders, farming and a tour of the California Native Plant Garden.

Planted last year, the garden helps visitors explore the vital role native plants once had in food, tools and daily life.
