Because she actually cares about us. And not just in a “teacher” way. She thinks of us as her actual kids and loves all of us (even the troublemakers). If a student is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community she understands that. She calls us all by our preferred names and takes the time to learn them. She also understands if you have problems at home. She teaches us through a combination of love and discipline. Make no mistake; she can discipline you. But she does it out of love. And, unlike other teachers, she LOVES us. And we all love her just as much. She deserves this recognition because she is the best. Love you Ms. Eagan! -the entire drama class
