Major SWR Route To Be Partially Closed For Repairs
"Motorists are advised that delays could be lengthy," according to a Caltrans statement.

TEMECULA VALLEY, CA — A two-mile stretch of Highway 79 on the east end of Temecula will be partially closed Wednesday and Thursday for repairs, and motorists traveling the two-lane corridor are advised to prepare for delays or consider an alternate route.
According to Caltrans, a contractor will be replacing fragmented pavement on the highway, between Horizon View Street and Pauba Road, beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Crews will be working on one side of the highway, narrowing it to one lane. Flagging operations will be in place to allow east- and westbound motorists through the construction zone at intervals.
