Man Rescued On Interstate 215

TEMECULA, CA -- One person was injured early Saturday on southbound Interstate 215. The incident was reported around 6 a.m. on the freeway between Scott and Clinton Keith roads.

It's unclear how the victim was injured, but witnesses said a car was seen over the highway in the drainage area. Two semi-trucks also stopped at the scene.

Personnel from Cal Fire and Riverside County Fire Department arrived at the scene and rendered medical aid to the victim, who appeared to be a man. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
