Menifee Positioning Itself As Hub For 'High-Wage, High-Skill' Sectors

MENIFEE, CA — The city of Menifee is positioning itself as "a hub for high-wage, high-skill target industries, both regionally and nationally."

To that end, on Wednesday a special ceremony was held at City Hall to formalize a "JOBSNow Initiative."

The initiative is a collaboration between the city and the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce. The aim is to attract new businesses to the city and strengthen business growth and development.

According to the city, the initiative will provide a variety of resources and support for both new and existing businesses in the area. This includes incentives, workforce development programs, and assistance with navigating local regulations and permits.

The initiative aims to drive long-term economic growth and prosperity for the entire community by making it easier for businesses to establish and grow in Menifee, according to the city.

"With its burgeoning population and educated workforce, Menifee is positioning itself to become a hub for high-wage, high-skill target industries, both regionally and nationally," the city reported.

Menifee Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez called the partnership with the Chamber of Commerce "vital," and said the initiative "will provide measurable metrics for retention, outreach and marketing efforts."

Menifee Valley Chamber Board Chairman John Pironti said, “Working together, we will ensure that Menifee’s economy continues to thrive.”
