Menifee USD Employee Arrested On Suspicion Of Child Pornography

MENIFEE, CA — A Menifee Union School District employee was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography, but jail records show he was quickly released from custody on $10,000 bail.

Tristan Dario Pérez, 28, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Las Flores Drive by Menifee police and the county's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

His role with the school district was not disclosed.

Menifee police issued a statement to ease concerns of MUSD families.

"Currently, there is no reason to believe that any students or members of the community are victims of Pérez," the law enforcement agency said.

Formal charges against Pérez have not been filed and he has no criminal record in Riverside County, court records show.
