Motorist Seriously Injured In Menifee Crash
The car careened off of a roadway at an unknown speed and overturned at least once, fire officials reported.

MENIFEE, CA — A motorist was seriously injured Tuesday in a rollover crash in Menifee that left the victim briefly trapped inside his vehicle.
The crash happened about 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Derby Hill Drive and Newport Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The car careened off of the roadway at an unknown speed and overturned at least once. No other vehicles were involved.

About a dozen firefighters found the unidentified driver wedged inside the wreckage. He was extricated within a few minutes and taken to a trauma center for treatment.
Sheriff's deputies were investigating the cause of the crash.
