Multi-Vehicle Crash Slows Traffic On 215 Freeway In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA — A multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 215 just north of the Interstate 15 split in Murrieta jammed traffic Wednesday morning.

The wreck was reported at approximately 9 a.m. near the Los Alamos Road exit.

Preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol indicated four vehicles were involved. There was no word on injuries.

As of 9:18 a.m., at least one freeway lane was closed.

Southbound I-215 traffic was slow through the area.

The crash cause was under investigation.
