PERRIS, CA -- A murder investigation is underway Friday after a woman was found dead in Perris. Police said officers were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of Iroquois Road around 9:12 p.m. Thursday.
They found a woman with significant injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.

The Riverside Sheriff’s Department Central Homicide Unit and Perris Station Investigators responded and assumed the investigation.
