Murrieta To Host K9 Trial On Valentine's Weekend
Want to see Murrieta's K9 pups in action? Bring your Valentine to the 8th annual police dog trials on Feb. 15.
MURRIETA, CA — If you're looking for a free event to bring your Valentine to Murrieta, here's one to consider.
The Murrieta Police Department is hosting its 8th Annual K9 Trial on Feb. 15.
The day will not only include the police-trained dog competition, but a public safety fair, a SWAT display, local businesses and food vendors.

The trial will be held at Murrieta Mesa High School (24801 Monroe Ave.) and the gates open at 11 a.m. The National Anthem will be sung by a local student at 12:30 p.m. and the first team begins its trial just after the performance at 12:35 p.m.
"This is your once a year chance to watch a bunch of phenomenal K9 teams demonstrate their skills," the department said Wednesday in an Instagram post.
