Murrieta Innovation Center Welcomes New Dutch Company, NeuroReality

MURRIETA, CA — The city of Murrieta is touting a new business that is being "incubated" in town.

NeuroReality, a Dutch company, is now a tenant in the Murrieta Innovation Center, the city announced Thursday.

Founded in 2017, NeuroReality markets a virtual reality cognitive rehabilitation product for people worldwide who suffer brain injury after a stroke.

“NeuroReality's flagship product, Koji's Quest, has shown tremendous promise in revolutionizing cognitive rehabilitation,” said Scott Agajanian, city of Murrieta economic development director.

Koji's Quest utilizes virtual reality technology to create "engaging and immersive experiences, facilitating cognitive improvement in a fun and interactive manner. By combining technology and rehabilitation expertise, NeuroReality's solution has the potential to revolutionize the way cognitive impairments are addressed, offering hope to millions worldwide," according to the city.

Koji’s Quest has been deployed in more than 15 pilot sites across the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and the United States, according to Agajanian.

The Murrieta Innovation Center at 26442 Beckman Court is a "business incubator" that focuses on life sciences startup companies. The MIC provides these young companies with laboratory space, entrepreneurial support and access to capital, according to the city.

"We are thrilled to welcome NeuroReality to the Murrieta Innovation Center," said Patrick Ellis, managing director for the MIC. "Their dedication to enhancing cognitive rehabilitation accessibility and improving the lives of individuals with cognitive impairments resonates deeply with our vision of fostering innovation and transformative technologies."

Dr. Sandy Rathod, CEO of NeuroReality, lauded the partnership with the MIC.
