He was my 7th grade language arts, and social studies teacher.

What does this person teach?

Social studies, and Language Arts

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

I believe this teacher should be recognized and honored for their extreme support towards myself, and other students throughout Covid. Covid was not an easy time in our country, and it was extremely hard for teachers having to teach the curriculum towards us students. Most teachers were checked out throughout Covid, but Mr. Petchers was not. Everyday Mr. Petchers would brighten up my mood, and my students mood. He would do this by, asking us questions everyday before class would start, and encouraging us when we would get down on ourselves. Mr. Petchers made a tremendous impact on myself, and I will always consider him my favorite teacher of all time. But what I love most about Mr. Petchers is that he’s an even better person then teacher.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

That he is always there for your kid.
