Murrietta Mom Dedicates Life To Raising Adopted Daughters

MURRIETA, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes this mom extra special?

My sister Chelsea is an AMAZING mom! Her lifelong dream was to be a mother and she was devastated when she found out her body was not able to give her biological children. But she did not let that deter her. She became a strong advocate for foster care and ended up adopting 3 special needs daughters of her own. Her goal is to “save all the babies” and she always has a room in her home to accept any children in need of care.

Why do you feel this mom deserves the spotlight?

My sister Chelsea has given her life to raising her adopted special needs daughters. She is my hero.
