Nearly 1,500 Menifee Residents Without Power: What To Know
Two power outages in Menifee have left residents in the dark. Here's what is happening.

MENIFEE, CA — Southern California Edison has reported nearly 1,500 homes and businesses in Menifee were without power Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 8 a.m., 1,431 SCE customers in the area of Encanto Drive, Rouse Way, South of Ethanac Road, and east of Mathews Road were without power, according to the utility.
The crew is in place and working the outage, performing upgrades to equipment, an SCE spokeserson shared at 10 a.m.

Nearby, about 11 customers were affected by a second outage, reported just after 9:45 a.m. Repairs, resulting from equipment problems, were underway. That power, in the area near Holland Road and Bell Mountain Road, was expected to be restored by 1 p.m.

There was no immediate information on what caused the secondary Menifee outage.
Complete power restoration to the area was expected at 3:30 p.m., according to SCE estimates. No other information was immediately available.
