New Projects Planned In Murrieta Over Next 5 Years: See The List
This week, the Murrieta Planning Commission will review new Capital Improvement Projects proposed for the city.
MURRIETA, CA — New roads. Street repairs. New traffic signals. A new fire engine. New fire stations. A regional training public safety training center. A new pool at California Oaks Sports Park. A new butterfly pollinator garden.
The above are just some of the many capital improvement projects planned in Murrieta over the next five years.
On Wednesday, the Murrieta Planning Commission will review a four-page list of new projects proposed in the city through the 2027/28 fiscal year. The commissioners will then make a recommendation as to whether the projects — which are additions to the city's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) — are consistent with the goals and policies of the city's General Plan. The Planning Commission's recommendation will then go to City Council for adoption of a five-year CIP.
