WINCHESTER, CA — A Riverside County family is grieving the loss of their son this week, 20 years after the death of his brother in another crash mere miles away on State Route 371, just west of Anza.

Justin Alan Bellare, 34, died Tuesday on the westbound SR-371, just west of Bautista Road in Anza, according ot the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau. His identity was released after notification of next of kin, according to the sheriff's department.

"Our family is reeling at the sudden loss of a man who had so much life left to live," Family friend Joseph Lynch wrote in a GoFundMe shared to support the family after the crash. "In the worst twists of fate, it's the same road we lost his older brother on in 2006. Literally 20 years and 5 miles apart, so our father, Danny Bellare, is absolutely devastated. No parent should have to bury both of their sons."

"Justin wasn't perfect, none of us are," Lynch said. "But he loved with all his heart, he gave with all his soul and he brought joy to all who knew him and called him friend or family. He is already missed by so many and that longing will only grow as time passes," he said. "Justin loved to fish, ride dirt bikes, go to drag races, boat races, any type of race; he was there. He loved to smoke a joint, dress on point and live life to the fullest.

"We come to you in need of help to lay him to rest. We, as a family, are not in a position to facilitate all that is needed when a loved one passes. So we reach out to our community in hopes we will find support in this, the worst of times."

He is survived by his mother, Diane Bellare, his stepmother, Kathy Bellare, his stepbrother, Joseph Lynch, and his father, Danny Bellare.

Joseph Lynch said that he has called Justin his brother since he was 5 years old. "All of his friends are lost right now as he brought peace and joy with him when he came, and now that he is gone, that one-of-a-kind laugh has been silenced on this earth forever."
