PACE Elderly Care Center Opens In Murrieta
The PACE center offers an alternative to a nursing home with a medical team that specializes in aging and chronic conditions.

MURRIETA, CA — Neighborhood Healthcare opened the doors to a new 20,000-square-foot medical and care center for older adults in Murrieta on Friday.
It is the second Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) to open in town. The new facility offers a medical team specializing in aging and chronic conditions.
PACE touts itself as an alternative to nursing homes and a program for older adults to get social and medical services in their own homes and communities.

Neighborhood Healthcare also offers a bilingual medical team that works with therapists, dieticians, social workers, and home care nurses "to create a customized care plan" for each patient.
"Community health is about more than just vaccines and checkups. It’s about giving people the resources they need to live their best lives," said James Schultz, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Neighborhood Healthcare. "Caring for seniors in this manner means providing the resources to do so in a comprehensive way that empowers these individuals to thrive in their community. We're excited to open this facility in Murrieta!"
