Pedestrian Dies In Palm Springs Indian Canyon Drive Crash
DUI is not suspected in the crash that claimed one man's life.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — Authorities continued their investigation Monday into a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Palm Springs.
Officers responded about 10:10 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person hit by a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Indian Canyon Drive, according to Lt. Gustavo Araiza of the Palm Springs Police Department.
The driver was evaluated at the scene, and DUI was not suspected, Araiza said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital with significant injuries and was expected to survive, Araiza said.
Details about the circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
