The event is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. on June 11, with self-guided tours of eight separate buildings, accessible for free.
RIVERSIDE, CA — Multiple historic properties spread throughout downtown and east Riverside will be open for walk-throughs later this month in a "Doors Open" celebration of the city's past.
The event is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. on June 11, with self-guided tours of eight separate buildings, accessible for free.
"These events provide access to captivating historic sites that are often closed to the public," according to a city statement. "By opening the doors to these architectural gems, event organizers hope to increase awareness of historic architecture and the community's collective heritage in California's only `Doors Open' event."
