RivCo Campus Supervisor Arrested On Multiple Child Sexual Abuse Charges Posts Bail: Sheriff
A 51-year-old arrested on suspicion of sodomy by force, solicitation of child sex abuse material and more has left custody.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A 51-year-old Perris man who worked as a campus supervising officer at a Moreno Valley school that was arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges posted bail on Friday, authorities said.
Richard Feliciano Romero procured $60,000 for his bond and was released from jail.
In November, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a school in the 23000 block of Cougar Canyon Road after receiving a report of inappropriate contact between a campus supervising officer and a student, the sheriff's office said.

Due to the nature of the allegations, the case was immediately taken over by the Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit, according to the department.
Investigators identified the suspect as Feliciano.

On Thursday, investigators, served a search warrant at a residence in the 20000 block of Marcheta Place in Perris. Feliciano was taken into custody without incident, authorities said.
Feliciano was booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of sodomy by force, solicitation of child sexual abuse material and multiple additional child sexual abuse charges, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details were released.
"Student safety is top priority for the Moreno Valley Unified School District," according to an MVUSD statement released Friday. "The district is fully cooperating with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and the individual involved has been removed from the workplace."
