'Supportive & Loving' Murrieta Dad 'Leads By Example'

MURRIETA, CA— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Murrieta, meet Doug Goff.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Tristyn Goff who nominated Doug Goff of Murrieta.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

My dad is the most supportive and loving dad anyone could ask for. He is always the hand to help you up and the supportive voice encouraging you to try again. When learning to ride dirt bikes, he was the caring hand to help us out of the dirt and back on the bike, teaching us to never give up and what true resilience looks like. He leads by example, and we learn real world lessons. He is raising us as tough, self sufficient young adults and setting us up for a successful future. He is truly the best role model a child could ask for.
