'Suspicious Circumstance': Woman Found Dead In Hemet, Police Say
The Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit is investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made.
HEMET, CA — A woman was found dead in Hemet on Wednesday just before 5 p.m. after officers were called to the area to investigate a "suspicious circumstance," police said.
The woman was found with trauma and "obvious signs of death" on the 25000 block of Minorca Street. Responding deputies requested the assitane of the Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The release of the woman's name is pending notification of her family or next of kin, officials said.
