SWR CHP Officers Collecting Toys In Murrieta Today

It's an easy way to help those in need this holiday season.

MURRIETA, CA — California Highway Patrol officers will be out until 5 p.m. Thursday in Murrieta collecting toys to give children this holiday season.

Officers on on site at the Walgreens store at 29910 Murrieta Hot Springs Road to fill their patrol units with toys for the less fortunate children in the Southwest Riverside County region.

"Members of the community wanting to assist can purchase or drop off any unwrapped toy," CHP Officer Mike Lassig said.

If you can't make it out to Thursday's drive, Toy donations at all area Walgreens will continue through Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019.

In addition, you can drop off toys at the Temecula CHP office, which is located at 27685 Commerce Center Drive. Area Walgreens stores are located in the following places:
