Thousands Expected To Turn Out For Murrieta's Father's Day Car Show
The event — featuring music, food and lots of very cool cars — will take place from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 18.
MURRIETA, CA — Thousands of attendees are expected to turn out June 18 for the city of Murrieta's 51st annual Father’s Day Car Show at the California Oaks Sports Park, the city announced Tuesday.
The event — featuring music, food and lots of very cool cars — will take place from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the park located at 40600 California Oaks Road.
The show is free to attend for those who are not participating in the car competition.

For those interested in having a classic car entered in the show, registration is now open by visiting tinyurl.com/fathersdaycarshow22. The pre-registration fee is $25 (event t-shirt included); the registration fee on the day of the event is $30 (no event t-shirt included). Pre-1980 and specialty vehicles will be judged if they are in place by 4:30 p.m. the day of the show (participating vehicles may enter at 3 p.m.; the show begins at 4 p.m.).
"The classic Father’s Day Car Show is a great way to celebrate dads, grandfathers, and all family father figures and promises a fun day for car enthusiasts. Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual event that will include music with Midnight Ride, food vendors, a car competition, and family fun you don’t want to miss," according to a news release from the city.
