Threats To Riverside Poly High School Are Unsubstantiated, Police Say
Police said social media posts have been threatening violence to the school. There will be more officers on campus Monday as a precaution.
RIVERSIDE, CA — Social media posts threatening violence at Riverside Polytechnic High School have been unverified so far, police said Saturday.
Riverside Police said they are aware of "various" posts being shared making threats of school violence, and that investigators are working with school administration and the Riverside Unified School District to identify where the threats originated.
"We appreciate all the calls to our dispatch center and private messages to our RPD social media, and so far none of those posts have been substantiated," authorities said Saturday.
