Torture, Rape, Human Trafficking Charges Lodged In Hemet

Davion Dalon Marshall and Travis Trayvon Vernon Grisham, both 33 years of age, are facing charges after an alleged victim was hospitalized.

HEMET, CA — Two men accused of torture, rape, and human trafficking remained behind bars Monday following their arrests last week by the Hemet Police Department.

An investigation into Davion Dalon Marshall and Travis Trayvon Vernon Grisham, both 33 years of age, began around 2:28 p.m. March 12 when Hemet police officers were called to Hemet Global Medical Center following a report of sexual abuse.

Investigators determined "the victim had been subjected to torture, sexual assault, and forced prostitution," according to the Hemet Police Department.

During the investigation, a second victim was identified. She too reported she had been trafficked, raped, and physically assaulted by the same men — later identified as Marshall and Grisham.

After gathering evidence, Hemet police moved in on the suspects. Jail records show both men were arrested April 22 in Hemet's 300 block of South State Street.
