Union City To Hold World's Largest Swim Lesson
It's not too late to sign your children up to learn to swim this summer.
UNION CITY, CA — Community & Recreation Services wants every child to learn how to swim, so in an effort to achieve that goal, will host the World's Largest Swimming Lesson next week.
"Teaching children how to be safe around water is not a luxury," the city said in a news release announcing the event scheduled for Thursday, June 22. "Learning how to swim will teach children basic, essential water safety skills which can open up a world of possibilities."
The World's Largest Swimming Lesson will be held all day at the Dan Oden Swim Complex, 33917 Syracuse Avenue in Union City, and is free to attend.
