Waste Management Announces Holiday Trash Pick-up Schedule

Starting Wednesday, Dec. 25 and again Wednesday, Jan. 1, residential trash pickup will be delayed by one day in Murrieta and other cities and unincorporated communities serviced by Waste Management of the Inland Empire.

This time of year generates a lot of fun and excitement, but also a lot of extra trash.

“With the holidays upon us, it’s important for Inland Empire residents to know their trash pickup schedule in the coming weeks,” stated Waste Management of the Inland Empire.

Waste Management’s curbside residential trash and recycling and commercial pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and through the remainder of the week in observance of Christmas.

According to a news release, service will also be delayed the following week, beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 1 and through the remainder of the week in observance of New Year’s Day.

This means customers in the following cities who receive service on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday should place their carts out for pick-up one day later than usual during these two weeks beginning Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2:
