Woman Hit By 2 Vehicles In Menifee, Drivers Sought By Police

MENIFEE, CA — Police are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down two drivers who allegedly struck a female pedestrian Sunday night in Menifee.
The incident was reported at 6:40 p.m. near the intersection of Ethanac and Sherman roads, just east of Interstate 215. Menifee police said the woman, whose identity was not released, was walking on a roadway shoulder when she was hit by the first vehicle.
The victim fell into the street and was hit by a second vehicle, according to police.

"Neither driver stopped at the scene or contacted law enforcement to provide information," the police department reported.
An SUV-style vehicle and an unidentified sedan were likely involved in the incident, but police said further descriptions were unavailable.

The victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment of her injuries, which are considered to be non-life-threatening, police said.
