Woman Killed In Murrieta Rollover Crash ID'd

MURRIETA, CA — The Riverside County coroner's office Sunday named the 52-year-old woman who died when a pickup truck struck a power pole in Murrieta.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at 4:09 p.m. Saturday on Clinton Keith Road east of Avenida La Cresta, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said that after the pickup truck hit the power pole it overturned and landed on its roof.

Katharine Rhoten of Murrieta was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner's office reported.

The CHP was investigating, and details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
