- The fire at a three-story Martinez building broke out at 8:44 a.m. on Christmas.

- The abandoned building is expected to be a total loss.
Newark Hindu Temple Vandalized
- "Based on the content of the graffiti...the vandalism is being investigated as a possible hate crime."
Suspect Arrested For Hayward Mail Theft, Loaded Handgun
