7-Eleven Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint; Suspect Sought
The convenience store on Cedar Boulevard was robbed just before 8 p.m. Thursday

Police are searching for a man who is suspected of robbing the 7-Eleven store on Cedar Boulevard Thursday night.
Authorities responded to the convenience store shortly before 8 p.m. after it was reported that a man had just entered the business, threatened a clerk with a handgun and demanded money, according to a Newark police statement.
The 7-Eleven employee handed over the money and the suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on Cedar Boulevard, police said.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-4 black male adult between the ages of 20 and 25 years old, weighing approximately 190 pounds with a slim build. Authorities said the suspect was last seen wearing a blue colored hoodie sweatshirt and that his face was covered.
