Love At First Slice also serves new Soju drinks, margaritas, mojitos, cosmopolitans and imported and domestic beers.
This year, the restaurant has been a venue for schools and organizations to host fundraisers and the owners have added events such as open mic nights on Wednesdays and karaoke nights for families on Thursdays.
Kelly Thomas has said her aspiration is to make the eatery the go-to pizzeria for families, friends, groups and teams of all kinds.
"We just want people to come in and we want to people to enjoy it," Kelly Thomas said in a previous interview with Patch. "We want to be what’s important to us, and that’s family."
The name change was pursued so that Love At First Slice could become independent of an eatery with the Shakers name that is based in Fremont.
