Burglary Suspects Arrested After Witness Sees Them Kick Down Door
Newark police set up a perimeter on Dalewood Drive and arrested the two suspects without incident.
Two men were arrested after police were notified that a pair of suspects was seen kicking in the door of a home Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Police set up a perimeter around the home on the 35900 block of Dalewood Drive and the men – a 26-year-old Newark resident and a 19-year-old Modesto resident –were arrested without incident as they were leaving the home, according to the .
The two were arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into Santa Rita Jail, police said.

Police later investigated a burglary reported on the 5700 block of Dichondra Place and are examining whether the burglary is linked to the Dalewood Drive incident, police said. Dichondra Place is approximately 2.5 miles away from Dalewood Drive.
