
NEWARK, CA — A rain storm will move through the Bay Area on Saturday, but it will not put a strain on rain gauges in Newark.
The National Weather Service predicts that Newark will only receive between .1 and .25 inches of rain from the storm.

Some areas will get up to a half inch of rain.

Once the storm passes through the Bay Area will begin a warming trend, with record highs possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

The warming trend comes as the state is running out of our traditional rainy season, with the East Bay remaining in severe drought.
