Dog Dies In Newark House Fire

Two people and two dogs lived at the home.

NEWARK, CA — One dog died as a result of a fire at a Newark home Thursday morning, according to the Alameda County Fire Department, which reported that the animal could not be revived.

No other injuries were reported.

In addition to the death, two people and a second dog were displaced.
