Election 2012: Wieckowski Wins State Assembly District 25 Seat Race
Democrat Bob Wieckowski has defeated Republican ArLyne Diamond in the newly drawn District 25 for State Assembly.

Democrat Bob Wieckowski is headed to victory in the state Assembly race for the newly drawn District 25, according to results reported on the Secretary of State's website.
With 185 of 246 precincts reporting, Wieckowski has received 70.3 percent of votes. Candidate ArLyne Diamond has received 29.7 percent of votes.

District 25 includes Newark, Fremont, Milpitas, Santa Clara and unincorporated east Santa Clara County.
Wieckowski took 58 percent of the vote in the 2012 primary election while Diamond had 28 percent.
