Update: Family Finds Missing Teen

A Newark dad said Thursday that he has found his missing teen son.

Nicholas Fanella, 15, had been missing since Tuesday, Feb. 5, according to his father, Gary Fanella.

The elder Fanella said Thursday that Nichols had been found but offered no other details.

In a prior story when Nicholas was still missing, Patch reported that Newark Police Cmdr. Mike Carroll said the police department has no information to release about the teen at this time except that Fanella said Nicholas, who goes by Nick, was last seen around 7 p.m. near Lincoln Elementary School.

Nick is a white teenager who is 5-foot-7 tall, 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt and black sleeves with faded baggy grey jeans and black high top shoes.
