Firefighters Respond to Japanese Restaurant Fire
Fire officials said the fire was extinguished by the restaurant's sprinkler system.

Firefighters responded to a small fire inside of a Japanese restaurant in Rosemont Shopping Center Friday afternoon.
Fire officials responded to Hashi Japanese Cuisine near shortly after 4:30 p.m. but the fire was extinguished before their arrival, authorities said.
The blaze was put out by the restaurant's sprinkler system, Alameda County Fire Department Batallion Chief Tony Connell said.

Damages to the building were unknown as of 4:45 p.m. and one fire engine and one batallion chief were still on scene just before 5 p.m. Connell said fire personnel are on scene to check the facility's roof and interior.
No injuries were reported.
