Free Cat Adoptions At Tri-City Animal Shelter

The Tri-City Animal Shelter has free cat adoptions to qualified adopters through Saturday, Oct. 8.

Staff with the shelter said the opportunity to adopt a cat for free is a way to prevent overpopulation at the shelter. 

Licensing fees must be paid, which costs $12 for Fremont residents. There is no licensing fees in Newark, Union City and San Leandro, according to a public service assistant with the shelter.
