- Why Go: Enjoy a free improv show performed by the Newark Memorial High School Improv Group and enjoy some pizza at the same time. A percentage of all purchases made Friday evening will go toward fundraising for the improv group.

- Where/When: Niles Essanay Theatre, 37417 Niles Blvd, Fremont; Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
- Why Go: Enjoy old films for a low cost at the Niles Essanay Theatre on Christmas Eve. The shows will feature: "The Man from Beyond" with "Broncho Billy's Christmas Dinner" (1911) and "Hearts and Diamonds" (1914).

- Why Go: It’s your family’s last chance to drive through this local neighborhood and wander through the decorated streets full of holiday lights and caricatures. Free candy canes will be distributed and donations that are given will be accepted and given to numerous charities.
