Video: Growing Times For Toddlers
The Toddler Time program at Newark Library is offered three times a week.
Two-year-old Noah Ramirez sat on his mother's lap as he outlined a circle with his pointing finger.
"Circle like a plate," children's librarian Kathleen Blair's voice echoed in the background.
Noah was one of dozens of children who crowd a room near the children's section of the every week as part of the library's Toddler Time program.

Open to children who are 18-36 months of age, each 30-minute class is designed to expose children to books, American Sign Language and music. The activities help the toddlers with their developmental skills, Blair said.
Karen White has been bringing her friend's 18-month-old grandson Kyle to Toddler Time for about a month and said it's one of the best toddler programs she has attended.

"I think it's a really good. I like the idea of the books. It really does help," White said.
Toddler Time is available every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and on Fridays at 10 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. The classes have became so popular that registration is encouraged.
